All eight SNOTEL stations in the Bear River Basin monitoring network serving Cache County show snowpack at or effectively at zero as of June 28, 2026. This reflects normal end-of-season conditions for this calendar date — the meaningful signal is not today's reading but rather that meltout occurred 4–6 weeks earlier than the historical median meltout date.
Franklin Basin is the only station registering SWE above trace levels. Any remaining snowpack contribution to streamflow from these stations is minimal and effectively exhausted for the season.
